I am a dedicated Child Development Specialist in Kerala, serving as the Academic Director and Rehabilitation Psychologist at AIMS Child Development Center, Pattambi, Kerala.
Working with children every day and witnessing the different challenges they face inspired me to dedicate my career to child development. Many children experience emotional, behavioral, and developmental difficulties that often go unnoticed or are misunderstood. As a Child Development Specialist and Rehabilitation Psychologist, I have the opportunity to identify these concerns early and guide children toward the right support.
Many behavioral changes in children are mistakenly seen as illnesses, while the real causes may be developmental or psychological. My responsibility is not only to help families understand these challenges but also to ensure that children receive the right therapy and intervention at the right time. Role of a Child Development Specialist in Kerala
- Assess children’s cognitive, physical, social, emotional, and communication development.
- Identify developmental delays, learning difficulties, and behavioral concerns at an early stage.
- Develop individualized intervention plans based on each child’s unique developmental needs.
- Provide early intervention programs to improve developmental outcomes.
- Guide parents and caregivers on supporting their child’s development at home.
